Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. All positions are paid, including internships, and prior experience is advantageous but not essential. A friendly demeanour and a passion for hospitality are key to success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and courteously to customers at the bar and tables
- Prepare and mix drinks according to standard recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and uphold responsible serving policies
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
- Restock bar supplies as needed throughout shifts
- Provide excellent customer service, engaging with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables during busy periods
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including hygiene standards and alcohol regulations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving practices is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- A positive attitude with a genuine interest in delivering excellent customer service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or shifts as required
