About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised Conveyancing Assistant to assist a busy Residential Conveyancing Solicitor.
The successful candidate will assist with a varied caseload of residential property transactions and play a key role in delivering exceptional client service throughout the conveyancing process. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake conveyancing work under supervision of the Conveyancing Solicitor.
- Prepare contract packs and assist with responding to pre-contract enquiries.
- Investigate and report on title relating to residential purchase transactions.
- Prepare completion statements and certificates of title.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties to progress transactions through to exchange and completion.
- Coordinate completion funds with the Accounts Department.
- Ensure compliance with the Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS), firm procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Draft correspondence and legal documents accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain organised files and case management records.
- Provide a professional, friendly and responsive service to clients both in person and by telephone.

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
