Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Breakfast Chef to join our growing kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast and preparing lunch, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety, and ensuring prep for the following service is completed. This role will play a vital part in delivering a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Shifts:
5x days a week, 7am-2pm

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast & lunch dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Assist in meal planning and portion control to minimise waste and optimise efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout shifts
- Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for ingredients or supplies to management
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy weekend mornings
- Support with preparations for following services
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a kitchen assistant within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards
- Experience in meal preparation and serving in a fast-paced environment is desirable
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Positive attitude
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Passion for delivering high-quality food and customer satisfaction
- Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are equally valued
