We are looking for an organised, motivated school leaver who is interested in starting a career in property.
This is a great opportunity to join Bristol Property Centre as a Property Management Apprentice, where you will learn the role from the ground up while working alongside our experienced property management team.
You will be enrolled on the Level 3 Housing & Property Management Apprenticeship through The Apprentice Academy. The programme is designed for people working in the housing and property sector and covers key areas such as lettings, tenancy management, repairs, health and safety, tenancy deposits, housing law, property standards and customer service. The course usually runs for around 14–15 months and is delivered online with support from the training provider.
The role
In the first instance, you will shadow our property managers and learn how a busy property management department operates. Over time, you will begin carrying out certain tasks yourself, with support and training from the team.
Your duties may include:
- Assisting property managers with day-to-day administration
- Helping manage maintenance queries from tenants and landlords
- Speaking with tenants, landlords and contractors
- Booking appointments, inspections and contractor visits
- Updating our property management system
- Helping with compliance, tenancy paperwork and property records
- Learning how to deal with repairs, deposit matters, renewals and general property management tasks
- Supporting the wider team during busy periods
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
- Organised and reliable
- Confident speaking to people
- Interested in property and housing
- Keen to learn and develop
- Good with computers and admin tasks
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Professional, polite and willing to get stuck in
You do not need previous property experience, as full training will be provided. This role would suit a school leaver or someone at the beginning of their career who wants to build a future in the property industry.
Career progression
After successful completion of the Level 3 apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity to progress into a Property Manager role within the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to gain a recognised qualification, learn practical skills and develop a long-term career in property management.
