General Maintenance / Grounds Worker (Bank role/Part time)
Main Purpose
Support the upkeep of the site and provide driving services for staff and residents, ensuring high standards, safety, and efficiency.
Maintenance & Grounds
- Carry out basic repairs and maintenance (within skill level)
- Painting and decorating (internal & external)
- Support planned and reactive maintenance tasks
- Respond to emergencies when needed
Health & Safety
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Identify and report hazards or maintenance issues
- Follow risk assessments and health & safety procedures
Communication & Teamwork
- Work closely with the Maintenance Manager
- Keep informed through rotas, logs, and meetings
- Work independently and as part of a team
Training & Development
- Attend training and supervision sessions
- Keep skills and knowledge up to date

Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in general maintenance/DIY (e.g. repairs, gardening)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible with working hours (including early/late shifts)
- Ability to meet deadlines and use initiative
