Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end client implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy system architectures utilizing technologies such as cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), virtualization (VMware, ESXi), and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Configure and optimize network infrastructure components including VPNs, firewalls, DHCP, DNS, load balancers, and operating systems like Windows and Linux to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
- Develop and maintain integrations using APIs (REST, SOAP), web services, and various programming languages including Python, JavaScript, C#, Java, Ruby on Rails, and Shell Scripting.
- Implement system administration tasks such as database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server), system monitoring, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Apply best practices in information security to safeguard data integrity and confidentiality across all solutions.
- Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git for efficient software delivery.
- Provide technical guidance on system design choices related to microservices architecture, service-oriented architecture (SOA), load balancing strategies, and system scalability considerations.
- Conduct training sessions for clients on new systems and features to ensure smooth adoption and ongoing support.
Experience
- Proven experience in systems engineering or IT solution architecture with a strong understanding of operating systems including Windows and UNIX/Linux environments.
- Hands-on expertise with cloud services such as AWS or Azure along with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
- Extensive knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), security measures (firewalls, VPNs), and web services (RESTful APIs, SOAP).
- Familiarity with database management systems including SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB.
- Practical experience with DevOps practices including automation tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, C#, Java or Ruby on Rails; experience with shell scripting is a plus.
- Ability to interpret system requirements into scalable designs using modern architecture principles like microservices or service-oriented architecture (SOA).
- Knowledge of enterprise tools such as Salesforce or Pegasystems is advantageous but not mandatory.
