Driving Required: Driving is desirable; however, roles are available for non-drivers

Are you passionate about helping others live independently and with dignity in their own homes? Coniston Care Scheme is looking for compassionate, dedicated Carers to join our team and provide high-quality domiciliary care to individuals in our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with daily living tasks, personal care, and household activities.
- Assist with mobility, medication, and communication needs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Help service users access community services and maintain hobbies.
- Participate in basic nursing care (after training).
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning.
- Promote independence, dignity, and respect in all interactions.
- Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and report concerns appropriately.

Desirable:
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
- Experience supporting people in their own homes.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety.
- Experience mentoring new staff or caring for individuals at end-of-life.
- First Aid and Moving & Handling training (within last 12 months).

This role involves substantial contact with vulnerable individuals and requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. All applicants must disclose any criminal convictions, cautions, or bind-over orders.
