You will receive training to prepare you for supporting pupils across different key stages and specialist areas, helping you build confidence and experience within the classroom.
Teaching Assistants play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the school. The most effective Teaching Assistants are excellent communicators who enjoy supporting children in their learning and development. They build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families and work collaboratively as part of the school team.
Your Responsibilities:
- Supporting the class teacher with whole-class learning
- Delivering small-group interventions
- Providing one-to-one support for pupils who require additional assistance
- Helping to create an inclusive learning environment where every child can succeed
