About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager (or aspiring Registered Manager) to lead the set-up, registration and launch of Cadbury House, our brand-new 1-bed solo children’s residential home located in Cotteridge, just outside Bournville.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing a solo provision from the ground up. As Registered Manager, you will help shape the home’s identity, culture and practice from day one, ensuring a safe, nurturing and highly personalised environment where a child or young person can feel secure, supported and able to thrive.
You will lead the Ofsted registration process and operational launch of the home, with the full support of a committed senior leadership team who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and building outstanding services for children and young people.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong knowledge and confidence in supporting young people with complex emotional, behavioural or developmental needs, including situations where high levels of supervision, structured support and lawful restrictions may be required to ensure safety and stability. Experience of working within frameworks such as Deprivation of Liberty (DoL) / court-authorised arrangements, where appropriate, would be highly beneficial.
This role offers the chance to build and lead a small, dedicated team, embed best practice from the outset, and contribute to the wider development of St Benedicts Care as the organisation grows with scope to dual register with a further three bed home which is intended to be opened later in 2026.
