We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hairstyling and customer service, with the ability to create stunning looks that enhance our clients' natural beauty. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service while fostering a welcoming environment for our clientele.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert hair cutting, colouring, and styling services tailored to individual client needs.
- Perform additional services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance the overall client experience.
- Engage with clients to understand their preferences and offer professional advice on hairstyles and products.
- Upsell hair care products and services to maximise client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the salon space to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new team members when required.
- Stay updated on current trends and techniques in hairstyling and beauty.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role is essential, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Familiarity with barbering techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience in store management or front desk operations is beneficial.
