We are seeking a Support Worker to work Day Shifts at our Supported living site on a 1:1 basis with one of our clients. You will play a vital role in providing personalised care and support to the client helping them achieve their daily goals and maintain their independence.
- Must have experience working within a Complex care setting
- Must have experience working with clients who have M/H and Autism
- Must have excellent English language
- Drivers are desirable but not essential
- You will be working in the same property for all of your shifts
- Able to pick up extra hours working with other tenants
- Set rota in place to work around commitments
Support Worker role could involve the following:
- Support clients with Mental Health and Learning Disabilities, to live more
- independently
- Communicating with relevant people and following the programmes in place to ensure all needs are met
- Meal preparation and assistance
- Social visits (This can be 2:1 in the community)
- Planning and taking part in activities with the client
- Basic housekeeping
- Administering medication
- Completing daily documentation of your visits
