Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the salon team, providing guidance, coaching, and motivation to achieve performance goals
- Manage daily salon operations, including scheduling appointments, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- Drive retail sales through effective merchandising, product recommendations, and promotional activities
- Oversee client consultations to ensure satisfaction and build lasting relationships
- Handle administrative tasks such as inventory management and maintaining accurate records
- Cultivate a positive team environment by fostering open communication and recognizing achievements
- Maintain professional phone etiquette and excellent organizational skills to manage appointments and inquiries efficiently
Experience
- Proven management experience in a retail or service-oriented environment, preferably within a salon or beauty industry
- Supervising or team management experience demonstrating leadership and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse clientele
- Knowledge of retail management, sales strategies, merchandising techniques, and customer service excellence
- Ability to multitask effectively with excellent time management and administrative capabilities
- Previous experience in hair styling or cosmetology is a plus but not required; leadership qualities are essential
- Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, manage schedules, and handle client interactions professionally
