Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance of electrical, electronic and technical equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic equipment faults.
- Carry out equipment testing, inspection and servicing.
- Support installation, commissioning and replacement of equipment.
- Investigate equipment failures and implement appropriate solutions.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and service records.
- Liaise with equipment manufacturers, suppliers and external service providers.
- Provide technical support to operational and practice teams.
- Identify potential equipment problems before they result in breakdowns.
- Ensure equipment is maintained safely and in accordance with relevant technical requirements.
- Support the introduction and installation of new equipment.
- Travel to different UK locations when required.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism, safety and technical workmanship.
- Qualifications
- Proficiency in English for effective communication within international teams and documentation purposes
- Valid driving license for site visits or equipment transportation as needed
- Solid IT skills including familiarity with engineering software, data analysis tools, and laboratory instrumentation interfaces
- Relevant professional experience in equipment maintenance, service engineering or technical support.
Pay: From £35,000.00 per year
