Bakery Assistant – Permanent 16 hour Contract
Location: Avens Retail, 164 Overton Road, Kirkcaldy, KY1 2DY
Avens Retail is looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Bakery Assistant to join our team on a permanent 16 hour contract. If you enjoy working with food, helping customers, and being part of a supportive local business, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Do
- Serve customers in a warm, welcoming manner
- Prepare and serve hot and cold food
- Make up rolls, paninis, sandwiches etc
- Keep the bakery area clean, organised and well-stocked
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and customer service
What We’re Looking For
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication and people skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Experience is beneficial but not essential – full training will be provided
