Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Semi Skilled Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist with a variety of building and maintenance tasks, supporting skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely. Responsibilities
- Assist with carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, welding, and fabrication tasks under supervision
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to support construction activities
- Prepare work sites by cleaning and organizing materials and equipment
- Support skilled tradespeople in measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing materials
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment
- Help with painting, surface preparation, and finishing tasks as needed
- Conduct basic inspections of completed work for quality assurance
Experience
- Prior experience or familiarity with construction sites or related manual labor roles is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in construction environments
- Exposure to trades such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing or electrical work is advantageous
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and quality workmanship
