Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for a Lab Technician to join our Hobby studio team to conduct research and testing to help produce our outstanding range of hobby products, and in doing so help hobbyists achieve better results and maximise their hobby time and enjoyment overall!
Practical and thorough, you will be able to approach tasks methodically, as we’ll look to you to support the Technical Lead through quality control and quality assurance testing of paint products. You’ll understand the importance of ensuring that all test results are logged, reported and communicated accurately, and you’ll evaluate test results to identify areas where products being developed can be improved.
Intuitive and naturally curious, you will understand what our customers want from a hobby product. You will work closely with the studio’s Product Developers and Managers to research a wide range of topics, from analysis of emerging market trends to the latest techniques within the hobby.
Highly organised and with an attention to detail, you will be responsible for ensuring that all written documentation and physical samples are logged and stored appropriately, following agreed procedures. Our lab is a state-of-the-art facility so you’ll need to be able to keep the area clean, tidy and safe, ensuring that all equipment and working areas are maintained and that health and safety standards are met.
