Volunteer Social Media Assistant (TikTok Focus) – Hearts4Cats CIC

About Hearts4Cats
Hearts4Cats is a grassroots animal welfare organisation dedicated to improving the lives of stray cats through rescue, veterinary support, feeding programmes, and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) initiatives.
Our mission is to reduce suffering and create long-term change for vulnerable cats.
A cross 7 missions, we have:
- Neutered 45 cats to help reduce stray cat populations and prevent future suffering
- Rescued 25 cats and supported them with essential veterinary care and rehabilitation
We are looking for a creative and passionate Social Media Assistant to help us grow our online presence, with a particular focus on developing and expanding our TikTok platform.
The role
You will support Hearts4Cats by:
- Creating and developing engaging content ideas
- Helping grow our TikTok audience and increase engagement
- Turning our rescue stories, cat updates, and behind-the-scenes work into compelling content
- Researching new trends and identifying opportunities to increase reach
- Supporting content planning and scheduling
- Analysing performance and suggesting improvements
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience creating content for TikTok and/or social media platforms
- Understands what makes content engaging and shareable
- Has an interest in storytelling and animal welfare
- Is creative, reliable, and able to work independently
- Can bring ideas and enthusiasm to help us grow our online community
Experience with Canva, video editing tools, or social media scheduling platforms would be beneficial.
