Kitchen/Dining Room Assistant
Full-time post 35 hours per week
Shift times: 7.30am- 3pm based on rotating shift pattern 5 over 7 days
£13.25 per hour (increased to £13.45 after 2 months)
Elder Homes Ltd is currently seeking a Kitchen/Dining Room Assistant to join our Care Home in based in Chamberlain Road Edinburgh. With excellent teamworking and customer service skills, the successful candidate will be responsible for serving meals in the dining room and to our residents private rooms as well as preparing and serving continental breakfasts, afternoon teas and serving hot drinks throughout the day. You will also be responsible for supporting Kitchen staff to maintain the upkeep of the kitchen areas to a standard that meets all food safety inspection regulation requirements.

Candidate Requirements:
You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and team working skills, together with the ability to take a flexible approach to your work.
Fluent English language skills are required.
Successful applicants will be subject to a PVG check and satisfactory references.
Previous relevant experience would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be given.
Pay: £13.25-£13.45 per hour
