ROLE: Mechanical Fitter
HOURS: 38 hrs/week. Salary £46,337.20 & with £4k+ annual bonuses and travel payments covered under NAECI agreement.
LOCATION: Seascale, Cumbria, CA20 1PG
SHIFT: 9 day fortnight. Week 1 Monday to Thursday 07:15 until 16:15 and week 2 Monday to Thursday 07:15 until 16:15 and Friday 07:15 until 15:15.

Role Responsibilities:

Ensure all PPM's and reactive works are delivered in a timely manner on a maintenance scheme in line with the SFG-20 on steam systems.

To undertake training to become mechanical nominated for the site.

To report all incidents, accidents and near misses including non-compliant or unsafe conditions at the earliest opportunity.

To coach, mentor and develop team members to reach their full potential.

To cover on-call duties.
Required Qualifications: applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

Must have NVQ Level 3 in mechanical maintenance or equivalent

Good general knowledge of facilities services, operational practices.

Sound understanding of nuclear site procedures and practices.

Full UK driving license
