Associate Director - Debt Advisory
Our client believes in empowering individuals and communities to make the right decisions and achieve their goals. Their well-established Debt Advisory practice is seeking an Associate Director to join their dynamic team. The team has a proven track record of handling complex Debt Advisory mandates, contributing to some the growth of several middle market firms.
About the Role: You will play a key role in managing a diverse portfolio of case work. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting partners and directors in preparing and pitching for new debt/capital raises, offering innovative solutions to client issues.
- Leading lender relationships, identifying opportunities for new mandates, and contributing to the development of new business.
- Mentoring team members to deliver excellent client service and fostering their professional development.
- Taking responsibility for compliance, risk management, budgets, and billing to ensure timely and profitable service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply technical knowledge effectively in resolving client problems and advancing projects.
- Be the lead contact for multiple client relationships, balancing risks and commercial opportunities.
- Prepare reports, IM's and Financials as well as recommendations for lenders and stakeholders.
- Understand the market, identify business opportunities, and maintain a strong network of contacts.
Qualifications and Experience: To thrive as an Associate Director, you should meet the following criteria:
- Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA) with over five years of post-qualification experience- this would be ideal.
- Experience in financial services in either: Restructuring, Debt Advisory, Corporate Finance, Asset Backed Lending or Leverage Finance.
- Demonstrable ability to utilise and interpret Financial Models.
- Demonstrated ability to manage small teams and report directly to lead partners or directors.
