Job Description:
Gibbons Security Ltd is currently recruiting professional and reliable Door Supervisors to join our growing nightlife team across Derby and the surrounding areas.
We provide security services to licensed venues, pubs, bars, and events, with regular weekend work available throughout the year. The majority of shifts are based in Ripley and surrounding locations, making this role ideal for candidates who are able to travel.
Please note: This role is primarily based at licensed venues in Ripley and surrounding areas. Applicants must have access to their own transport and be available to work both Friday and Saturday evenings on a regular basis.
Immediate starts are available for the right applicants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing venue entry points and conducting ID checks
- Monitoring customer behaviour and maintaining a safe environment
- Dealing with incidents professionally and in line with venue procedures
- Working closely with venue management and fellow security staff
- Providing a visible, approachable, and professional security presence
- Completing incident reports where required
Requirements:
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential)
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport (essential)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional, reliable, and punctual
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Must be available to work Friday and Saturday evenings on a regular basis
