Here in BiZZ (in Dunstable) we are seeking a reliable and professional Van (multi-drop) Delivery Driver (x2) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to multiple locations within designated routes. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a van for multi-drop deliveries across various locations within the assigned area provided by DPD
- Load, scan, optimise the route, using DPD route software, deliver the parcels, make collections (if requested) and return to depo for debrief
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies during daily operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role is preferred
- Valid DVLA driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving, particularly in multi-drop deliveries, is required
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and handling heavy lifting tasks is beneficial
- Good communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS devices or maps
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy schedules
- Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and long periods of driving

We offer CASH IN HAND payments with fixed per day pay option (van, insurance, fuel - all provided).
The only thing you do is to come to depo in the morning, get the van, scan parcels, optimise the route , get it delivered , return for debrief and leave the van at depo. The routes are typically 55-75 miles long (total millage: depo to delivery area to depo) and consist of 90-110 stops (not like 170 to 200+ like others).
This is going to be initially part-time (3 days a week, including: Saturday, Sunday and Monday) increasing to full-time (5-6 days per week - if you proove to be good and reliable driver). The work day starts around 8.00-9.00'ish am and ends around 17.00-18.00.
