As a Building Products Process Operator you’ll be responsible for carrying out the production of the manufacturing process on a designated production cell (cross-training will be provided). This will involve producing sheet lead using various machine methods; rolling mill, slitter, saw operation.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
· Achieving the production targets set for the department on a daily basis
· Highlighting and communicating faults which may cause production delay
· Ensuring all operating conditions are correct before commencing manufacture
· Maintaining accurate records of production, and any other operational data as requested by the Team Leader
· Ensuring the work area is kept clean and safe at all times
· Promoting and adhering to the company’s health and safety procedures at all times
What will I need to be considered for this Process Operator role?
· Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing / heavy engineering environment
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team
· FLT Licence is desirable
· A flexible approach to work

Working Hours: Average 36 hours per week on rotating shifts:
Week 1 - Mon-Thu 0545-1345, Fri 0600-1500
Week 2 - Mon-Thu 1330-2215
Flexibility is needed to work both of the above shifts.
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Chester (Cheshire)
Pay: £16.44 per hour
