Job Title: Graduate Support Worker
Location: Lancaster (LA2)
Pay: £14.20 per hour
Hours: Full-time (Average of 40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and occasional sleep-in shifts)
The Opportunity
We've partnered with a specialist residential college supporting young people aged 16-25 with additional needs. The college provides both residential and day programmes, giving you the opportunity to support students with their learning, personal care, wellbeing, independence, and everyday life skills while helping them achieve their goals.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain invaluable experience in SEND and social care, with the potential to progress into a permanent role.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
- A graduate with a 2:2 or above in any bachelor's degree
- Passionate about supporting young people with additional needs
- Caring, patient, and empathetic
- A confident communicator and team player
- Ideally experienced working with children or vulnerable young people
You'll work as part of a supportive team to:
- Support young people with their learning and personal development
- Assist with personal care and daily living tasks
- Encourage independence, confidence, and social inclusion
- Create a safe, positive, and nurturing environment
- Work alongside families and professionals to achieve the best outcomes
- Complete training and contribute to high-quality care
