Production Office Coordinator | Up to £38,000 | Monday-Friday | Specialist Manufacturing Business
Capella Professional are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing specialist manufacturing business based in Langley Mill, Nottinghamshire.
Working within the precision manufacturing and engineering sector, our client produces specialist tooling, moulds and components for a range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Production Office Coordinator to join their team.
The Role
This is a varied position working closely with the General Manager and production team, helping to ensure the smooth running of the manufacturing operation.
You will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, monitoring progress, managing production administration, supporting material requirements and acting as a key link between production, customers, suppliers and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining production schedules.
- Monitoring production progress and highlighting any delays or issues.
- Liaising with production teams regarding capacity, resources and priorities.
- Managing production documentation and records.
- Maintaining accurate information across ERP/MRP systems.
- Monitoring production KPIs and preparing reports.
- Coordinating raw material and consumable requirements.
- Supporting stock control and inventory reconciliation.
- Liaising with customers and suppliers regarding orders and delivery timescales.
- Supporting quality, compliance and audit requirements.
- Assisting the General Manager with wider operational requirements.
About You
We're looking for someone who has previous experience in production planning, production coordination, manufacturing administration or a similar role.
You will ideally have:
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Good understanding of production planning and scheduling.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the confidence to work with both office and shop-floor teams.
Experience within precision engineering, tooling, mould manufacturing or injection moulding would be advantageous.
What's on Offer?
