Performing Arts Teaching Assistant – Saturday Academy
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Performing Arts Teaching Assistant to join our Saturday academy from September.
You’ll work alongside our teaching team, supporting classes in Musical Theatre, Comedy & Drama and Film & TV for children and young people aged 4–18.
This is a great opportunity for someone with an interest or background in performing arts, drama, musical theatre or film who wants to gain practical experience working within a busy performing arts academy.
The role involves:• Supporting teachers during practical classes and rehearsals• Encouraging and engaging students• Helping with the smooth running of classes and academy sessions• Supporting performances, projects and other academy activities
We’re looking for someone who is:• Enthusiastic, energetic and confident working with young people• Reliable and able to commit to Saturday sessions• Interested in performing arts and/or Film & TV• Aged 18 or over
Hours: Saturdays, approximately 10am–1pm during academy term dates.
Pay: £40 per session. Freelance position.
PQA follows safer recruitment procedures. An Enhanced DBS check will be required and can be arranged if necessary.
