We are seeking applications from a motivated individual to join the Clinical Science & Engineering team, as a Rehabilitation Engineering Technician on a one-year fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.

The job holder will:
Support the multidisciplinary Medical Engineering team
Apply technical skills to support wheelchair & special seating clinics
Manufacture of bespoke seating and rehabilitation aids using the mechanical workshop
Carry out wheelchair maintenance and repair
Predominantly the service operates from the purpose-built Medical Engineering facility, but there would be a requirement to travel to satellite clinics.

Applications would be considered at a lower banding if criteria for qualifications or experience are not met. This is a full-time post but reduced hours will be considered for the right candidate.
