FT Night Care Assistants Required
39 hour permanent contract available.
Job Summary

In this vital role, you will provide personalised support to elderly residents, assisting with night time routines, ensuring their comfort, and promoting their independence. Duties
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing for bed, grooming, and mobility to promote dignity and independence
- Support residents in engaging with activities and social interactions to enhance their well-being
- Help with feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met according to care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and update residents’ care plans regularly
- Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and families to ensure consistent and compassionate care delivery
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a secure environment for everyone in the care home
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and updating care plans electronically
- A caring attitude combined with excellent interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with residents and colleagues
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment
