Are you an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer looking for a secure, long-term opportunity with a leading organisation? We are currently recruiting for a skilled Gas Engineer to join a growing team, covering domestic properties across the TQ, TA and EX areas.
The Role
As a Domestic Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring heating and hot water systems are operating safely, efficiently and effectively. You will diagnose faults, complete repairs, carry out servicing and planned maintenance, while providing a professional service to customers and tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repair works across a range of domestic properties.
- Diagnose and resolve faults on domestic heating and hot water systems.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service when attending customer and tenant properties.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding work completed and any further requirements.
- Complete relevant paperwork and update systems accurately, both electronically and manually.
- Work independently while maintaining strong communication with the wider team.
- Participate in on-call requirements as required.
Essential Requirements
- Valid ACS Domestic Gas qualifications:
- CCN1
- CENWAT
- HTR1
- CKR1
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
- Previous experience working as a Domestic Gas Engineer within maintenance, servicing and repair environments.
- Previous social housing experience
- Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- A professional, customer-focused attitude with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and tenants.

Pay: £42,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
