About the Role
Fitness Factory is looking for a highly motivated, proactive, and people-focused Business Manager to help drive the business forward.
This is not a sit-behind-a-desk management role — we are looking for someone energetic, organised, and results-driven who thrives in a fast-paced environment and genuinely enjoys working with people.
You will work closely with the Gym Management to ensure the business runs smoothly day-to-day while helping grow memberships, improve customer experience, support staff, and drive overall business performance.
We want someone who can take initiative, solve problems, motivate a team, and bring positive energy into the business every single day.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Operations
- Assist with the overall day-to-day running of the gym
- Ensure smooth business operations across all departments
- Help improve systems, organisation, and efficiency
- Support business growth and member retention strategies
Staff Management
- Manage staff rotas and scheduling
- Organise holiday leave and staff cover
- Support and motivate team members
- Help maintain a positive, professional working environment
- Assist with staff training and onboarding where required
Memberships & Customer Experience
- Manage member enquiries and memberships
- Deliver outstanding customer service
- Build strong relationships with members
- Handle customer concerns professionally and efficiently
- Help increase member retention and satisfaction
Business Growth & Development
- Support new business development opportunities
- Assist with social media, gym promotions, campaigns, and events
- Help drive sales, memberships, and community engagement
- Contribute ideas to help grow the Fitness Factory brand
Stock & Administration
- Manage stock ordering and supplier coordination
- Maintain accurate records and administrative systems
- Ensure the business remains organised and operationally efficient

Experience within the fitness, hospitality, or customer service industry is desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
