Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Tyre Fitter/Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining tyres and vehicle mechanical components to ensure optimal safety and performance. Duties
- Remove, replace, and repair tyres on various types of vehicles using hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues related to tyres, brakes, suspension, and other components
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as wheel balancing, alignment, and tyre rotations to enhance vehicle performance
- Assist customers by providing expert advice on tyre selection, maintenance needs, and safety procedures
- Use heavy lifting techniques and equipment to handle tyres and mechanical parts safely during repairs or replacements
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including parts used and services provided
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in tyre fitting or automotive repair
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc., as well as power tools for efficient work execution
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks including tyre balancing, wheel alignment, and vehicle inspections
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting tasks required during tyre installation or repairs
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to automotive maintenance environments
- Previous experience working with heavy machinery or in a fast-paced workshop environment is a plus

Pay: £25,420.00-£45,034.54 per year
