We are looking for dance/cheerleading/tumble coaches to join our close team. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Derby and is suitable for anyone with experience in coaching/cheer/ teaching. You will be responsible for planning and leading sessions, creating routines, teaching technical skills such as tumbling and stunting while ensuring the children are learning safety. You will teach teamwork, resilience and kindness among students at a young age. The coach will guide and develop athletes of various skill levels and ages, prepare teams for competitions and performances, and communicate with parents and other team members efficiently.
We are looking for coaches to work on Tuesday afternoons from 4pm and/or Saturday mornings at 9am-noon.
Qualifications
- Knowledge surrounding cheerleading and tumbling, with a solid understanding of stunting and choreography
- Confident ability to instruct athletes of varying skill levels and ages
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with athletes, parents, and staff
- Ability to develop a safe and supportive learning environment
- Previous experience in cheerleading instruction or coaching is preferred but not required
- First aid certification and familiarity with safety regulations in athletics are highly advantageous
