We are seeking dedicated and compassionate academic tutors across a range of subjects to join our team at Maidenhead Tutorial Centre. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing tailored educational support to students. This role requires patience, creativity, and a passion for helping each student achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver personalised lessons in your subject area.
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
- Work closely with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to each student’s education.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Willingness to undergo background checks in line with Safer Recruitment processes.
Desirable:
- Experience in education settings.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Specific training or qualifications in your subject area.
