Restaurant Floor Manager – Dear Jackie @ Broadwick Soho
We are looking for an exceptional Restaurant Floor Manager to join the Dear Jackie team at Broadwick Soho. This is a role for a natural leader – someone who walks onto the floor and instantly lifts the energy of the room, who sets the standard for every shift, and who inspires a team to deliver service that goes far beyond the expected. If you thrive in the spotlight of a busy service, love developing people, and take genuine pride in running a seamless operation, this could be your next great opportunity.
On Target Earnings
The on target earning potential for this role is £44,000 per annum based on working 40 hours over 5 days a week – comprising a base salary of £16.50 per hour plus a qualified estimate of £9,586 per annum in gratuities and service charge. Please note this is a projected tronc and OTE.
What is in it for you?
- Inclusion in the Tronc scheme, covering both Rooms and F&B service charge.
- 30 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays, increasing with length of service.
- Bravo Broadwick – our bespoke reward and recognition scheme celebrating birthdays, work anniversaries, and inspirational service.
- Pension scheme, season ticket travel loan, cycle-to-work scheme, and Medicash health plan.
- Complimentary taxi home if your shift finishes after 12.30am.
- Great food and drink during your shift.
- Designer outfits that represent our spirit and personality – fresh and ready for every shift.
- Support from our Employee Assistance Programme, wellbeing initiatives, and a company discretionary sick pay scheme after 6 months of service.
- Refer a friend bonus (£1,000 for chefs / £500 for all other roles), friends and family discounts, and a complimentary Guest Experience on successful completion of your probationary period.
Why You?
As a Restaurant Floor Manager at Dear Jackie, you will be the driving force behind every service. You will own the shift from start to finish – leading the pre-service briefing, organising the floor, deploying the team with confidence, and maintaining the pace, energy, and standards that make Dear Jackie one of Soho’s most loved dining destinations.
You will oversee operations across Dear Jackie, our intimate and characterful restaurant, Bar Jackie our vibrant all-day café and aperitivo bar, and our stunning 28-cover Private Dining Room on the 8th floor with its breathtaking views across the London skyline. No two shifts are the same – and that variety is part of what makes this role so rewarding.
Your role is as much about people as it is about operations. You will supervise, coach, and inspire the front-of-house team throughout the shift – stepping in where needed, recognising great performance, and always leading by example. You will be the person the team looks to when the pace picks up, and the reason guests leave feeling genuinely looked after.
We believe in flexibility and multi-skilling, and you may be asked to support different areas of the operation to meet the needs of our guests and colleagues. You will work alongside brilliant people across the hotel, operating as one seamless team with a shared commitment to exceptional hospitality.
What do we need from you?
- Proven experience in a floor management or supervisory role within a luxury hospitality or premium restaurant environment.
- Demonstrated ability to run and organise a service shift from briefing through to close, maintaining standards throughout.
- An inspiring people manager who leads from the front, motivates a team under pressure, and brings out the best in every individual.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with the confidence and presence to command a busy floor while remaining warm and personable.
- Sharp organisational skills – able to plan ahead, react quickly, and keep every moving part of a service running smoothly.
- A creative thinker with a can-do attitude and meticulous attention to detail.
- A deep passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and the drive to continually raise the bar.
- Availability to work 40 hours over 5 days per week, including evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
