We are a growing same-day courier and logistics company based in Brentford, providing time-critical delivery services across London and the South East. We are currently expanding our operations ahead of new Delivery Service Partner (DSP) contracts, and are building out our management team to support that growth.
Location: Brentford, London (TW8) – on-site, with occasional travel to client/depot sites.
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to take ownership of our day-to-day delivery operations and help scale the business as we grow our driver fleet and client base. This is a hands-on leadership role reporting directly to the Director, with real scope to shape processes, systems, and team structure as the company expands.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate and oversee daily delivery operations, ensuring on-time, cost-effective service
Manage and grow the driver workforce, including recruitment, scheduling, and performance management
Develop and implement operational processes, routing systems, and KPIs to improve efficiency
Liaise with clients and DSP partners to ensure service levels are met and contracts are fulfilled
Manage fleet compliance, vehicle maintenance schedules, and driver licensing/insurance requirements
Monitor operational costs and contribute to budgeting and forecasting
Ensure compliance with transport regulations, health & safety, and company policy
Support the Director in strategic planning as the business scales
About You
Proven experience in a logistics for more than 2+ years, transport, or delivery operations management role
Strong understanding of route planning, fleet management, and driver compliance
Experience managing or scaling a delivery/courier team is highly desirable
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Confident using logistics/routing software and Microsoft Office/Excel
Strong communication skills, comfortable liaising with clients and partners
A proactive, hands-on approach — this is a growing business and no two days are the same
