Are you a recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience within education? We are currently recruiting for a Graduate Educational Support Staff member to join a school in Southampton, Hampshire, starting this September.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who are considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology, SEN support, or youth work, and who want hands-on classroom experience.
The Role:
- Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assisting with the management of pupil behaviour
- Supporting pupils with additional or special educational needs
What We're Looking For:
- A degree (or working towards one) in Education, Psychology, or a related field
- A genuine interest in working with children and young people
- Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude
- Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is desirable but not essential
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
