Responsibilities:
- Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Answer phone calls, respond to admin enquiries, and provide information to patients and medical professionals
- Assist with medical and insurance reports and billing processes
- Co-ordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing and data entry
Qualifications:
-Preferred experience in an office or administrative role
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite and Emis Web
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is an advantage although training can be given
You will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our admin team within the practice . You will be responsible for providing administrative support to healthcare providers, co-ordinating patient appointments, maintaining patient records, summarising patient records and ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
