To generate and promote a caring and supportive environment for Caremark’s clients by implementing very high standards of professional care and support. To manage the staff team, supporting their development, skills and abilities.

As the Registered Care Manager, you'll play a key role in creating a caring, supportive, and positive environment for both our clients and our team. You'll ensure we continue to deliver outstanding, person-centred care while leading, motivating, and developing our staff to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure every client receives high-quality, personalised care and support that meets their individual needs.

Uphold Caremark's values, aims, policies, and procedures across all areas of the service.

Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and best practice guidance.

Lead, support, and inspire the staff team, taking overall responsibility for their performance and wellbeing.

Deliver training where appropriate and identify ongoing learning and development opportunities for the team.

Ensure all staff receive effective induction, training, supervision, and regular performance reviews.

Promote open communication, teamwork, and a positive working culture, including leading regular team meetings.

Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new team members.

Monitor and maintain quality assurance systems to ensure excellent standards of care.

Manage risk effectively and ensure robust risk management processes are in place.

Keep all electronic and paper records accurate, up to date, and compliant.

Prepare and process payroll accurately and on time.

Produce and send client invoices.

Manage complaints professionally, ensuring they are handled promptly and effectively.

Build positive relationships with clients, their families, representatives, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.

Prepare management reports and provide updates on service performance.

Work within agreed budgets while supporting the profitability and sustainability of the business.

Support the continued growth of the service by taking part in local networking, marketing, and community engagement activities.

Knowledge & Qualifications

A good understanding of domiciliary care and the needs of people living at home.

Knowledge of person-centred care, safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality.

An understanding of the responsibilities of a Registered Manager and relevant care regulations.

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or willingness to work towards it.
Experience & Skills

Experience working in adult social care, ideally in a leadership or management role.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients, families, professionals, and colleagues.
-
Experience leading, supporting, and developing a care team.
-
Confident in care planning, risk assessments, and maintaining accurate records.
-
Good IT and administrative skills.
-
Able to organise workloads, solve problems, and ensure high-quality, compliant care.
-
Financial awareness and budget management experience is an advantage.

£33,000.00 - £45,000.00 per year
