Cleaning Supervisor & Client Onboarding Lead
Part-time Permanent Position | 15–20 hours per week | Weekdays | 9am-3pm
Harrogates FM is a growing, family-run cleaning company looking for a reliable and experienced individual to join us as a Cleaning Supervisor and Client Onboarding Lead.
This is a hands-on position. It is not a role where you simply supervise others from the sidelines. You will work alongside our cleaning team, complete cleaning work independently and help ensure new clients receive an excellent service from their very first clean.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and working alongside a small cleaning team
- Managing initial cleans for new residential and commercial clients
- Making sure client requirements and cleaning specifications are understood
- Setting the required standard during new client cleans
- Identifying and reporting any operational, staffing or client issues to the business owner
- Supporting cleaning team members where additional guidance is needed
- Completing regular cleaning work independently and as part of a team
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, offices and communal spaces
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sanitising surfaces
- Ensuring work is completed thoroughly and within the allocated time
- Representing the company professionally when meeting clients
What We Are Looking For
You will need to be:
- Reliable, punctual and organised
- Confident leading and working alongside others
- Comfortable speaking with clients and understanding their requirements
- Able to identify problems and raise them promptly
- Detail-focused, with high cleaning standards
- Willing to take responsibility for the quality of completed work
- Able to work independently without constant supervision
- Physically capable of completing hands-on cleaning work
- Friendly, professional and approachable
Previous professional cleaning, housekeeping, team-leading or supervisory experience would be advantageous. However, attitude, reliability and the ability to maintain high standards are more important than having held a particular job title.
A full driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle are required, as the role involves travelling between client locations.
Working Hours
- Part-time: approximately 15–20 hours per week
- Weekday daytime work (all worked booked between 9am-3pm)
- No weekend work
What We Provide
- A supportive, family-run working environment
- All required cleaning equipment and products
- Training on our cleaning standards and operating procedures
