We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR & Payroll team leader in our People function, which delivers end to end employee lifecycle services and advice guidance and support to managers. We are going through a period of both growth and transformation, and this role will play a key role in delivering the core People services we need to support that growth and change.
The successful candidate will have responsibility, with the direction of the People Ops manager, for managing the People Operations & Payroll transactional services team, ensuring the effective delivery of the transactional elements people operations service. You will manage and support our team who are the first point of contact for all initial People and Payroll queries. Day to day you will ensure delivery of high quality and efficient services including the Payroll & People Operations Helpdesk, employee onboarding, employee lifecycles processes and our HR Information System.
To be successful in this role you will be suitably qualified and have a well developed understanding of keys areas of people and payroll administration and UK legalisation. In addition you will have:

A successful track record of delivering people or payroll transactional services in conjunction and collaboration with internal stakeholders

Demonstrable experience of successfully delivering an operational people and/or payroll service in collaboration with an outsourced payroll provider.

Experience of delivering process and system improvements

Experience of successfully organising and directing the work of a small team.

Demonstrable working knowledge of HR Information and Payroll systems
