Part-Time Sales & Customer Service Assistant — Mobility Equipment
Aspire2 Mobility is looking for an organised, sales-driven part-time team member with direct sales experience (retail or face-to-face) to join our Oakham showroom. This role combines sales follow-up, CRM administration, and customer service — ideal for someone who can both build rapport with customers and stay structured and on top of leads, emails, and admin.
Aspire2 Mobility is a well-established, independent mobility equipment retailer based in Oakham. We help customers find the right mobility scooters, wheelchairs, and equipment to support their independence.
The role:
- Following up sales enquiries and leads methodically using our CRM system (HubSpot)
- Responding to customer emails and enquiries promptly and thoroughly
- Providing warm, patient, knowledgeable customer service in person and over the phone, converting interest into bookings and sales
- Keeping accurate records and staying on top of admin/follow-up tasks
- Supporting day-to-day shop operations — keeping the showroom clean, tidy, and welcoming
- Assisting with light equipment handling, deliveries, and equipment preparation (full training given)
What we're looking for:
- Previous direct sales experience essential — retail, face-to-face, or similar, with confidence turning interest into a sale
- A structured, organised approach — you're the kind of person who doesn't let things slip and follows things through to completion
- Excellent people skills — comfortable and patient dealing with a wide range of customers, including elderly and vulnerable individuals
- Confident with computers/CRM systems, or a quick learner
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Comfortable with some physical tasks, including manual handling and assisting with deliveries (training and support provided)
Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week, primarily Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We're looking for someone flexible where possible, as days worked may vary by agreement, including occasional cover for holidays.
Pay: £13.00 per hour
