Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Office Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene within our office premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a tidy, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred, but full guidance will be provided.
This role offers flexible hours suitable for those seeking part-time employment. We estimate the job being at a minimum of 3 hours per week, but not more than 5 hours per week. Pay negotiable.
Our office hours are 9 - 5, Monday - Friday so cleaning duties will be required outside of these hours. For example, it could be you prefer to be an early bird and clean before 9am or attend after the working day at 5pm, or a Saturday morning
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties across office areas, including dusting and vacuuming.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces (reception areas & meeting rooms) to high standards
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored properly after use
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment as you will often be lone-working
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties to management promptly
Requirements
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential as guidance will be provided
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable punctuality and a professional attitude
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting light equipment or supplies
- Basic organisational skills to manage cleaning schedules efficiently
This position is ideal for individuals seeking part-time work with flexible hours, on a self-employed basis while contributing to a clean and pleasant office environment.

Pay: £12.80-£25.00 per hour
