Due to on-going expansion, MTI Tech Ltd are looking for an ambitious Sales Manager professional to drive new business.
MTI Tech Ltd are a small but highly successful organisation in deploying communication and safety systems in mines, tunnels, and infrastructure in the UK.
Applicants must have at least 3 years of B2B Sales Executive/Manager experience, ideally experienced with selling technical or industrial products/projects.
The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business & accounts for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills, and must be able to manage their own workload. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
The role would suit someone who can understand the requirements of our existing clients quickly and also discover opportunities by reaching out to prospective clients via telephone / email / tender processes.
The role would also include administrative tasks to support the radio and communication systems side of the business, including helping with quotations, deliveries, accreditations online, and general enquiries.

Sales/Marketing Activities
- Understanding the key markets and ensuring we know the route to market. This could be direct, or through a tender process, or through an engineering company.
- Build awareness on-line for our technologies and project capabilities.
- Identify tender portals for registration and to run a weekly/monthly report on any potential projects.
- Cold call targeted organisation key contacts – once some initial research has been conducted – and ask for feedback etc.
- Zoom/Teams online demonstration/sales calls, with the help of Technical Sales Director (if required).
- In person customer visit meetings at customers sites.
- Organise and attend industry exhibitions that we could participate in.
Commission Structure
- Base Salary £30,000.00 to £35,000.00 depending on experience. plus 5% on all sales that are generated by the Industrial Sales Manager in the first two years. OTE approximately £45,000.00 to £50,000.00 per annum.
- Commission structure to be reviewed after year 2.
