Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Joiner/Carpenter to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills in carpentry and joinery within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will assist senior joiners in a variety of tasks; building their skills to work alone.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the fabrication and assembly of bespoke furniture, using hand tools and power tools
- Supporting the installation of joinery, and cabinetry
- Performing heavy lifting to move materials and equipment safely around the site
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and site standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, joinery, and construction techniques
- Experience with fabrication, assembly, and use of hand tools and power tools is desired; but not essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Driving license as may need to visit customer site(s)
- Attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training as needed

Pay: £15.99-£17.50 per hour
