Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Estimator / Senior Electrician to join our team. This role involves preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, overseeing installation processes, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The role also requires some hands on installation and maintenance work. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent organisational skills and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical estimates based on project specifications, drawings, and client requirements.
- Analyse plans and specifications to determine material, labour, and equipment costs.
- Liaise with clients to develop accurate budgets and timelines.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all tenders and quotations.
- Oversee electrical installation activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, controlling costs effectively while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Conduct site inspections to assess work quality and compliance with electrical codes and regulations.
- Lead and mentor a small team of electricians, providing technical guidance and support.
Qualifications
- Level 3 Electrical installation
- City & Guilds 17/18 Edition
- Test & Inspect would be an advantage
- Minimum of 5 years electrical experience
- Must have a full & clean driving licence
