The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of holding the Board to account, coupled with a readiness to embrace a high level of personal accountability.
While NHS experience is not essential, candidates should bring relevant expertise that can be effectively applied in our healthcare environment. You will need to quickly understand the health and social care policy, navigate relationships with key stakeholders, and appreciate governance requirements, including the risks inherent in the delivery of our services. Your sound judgment, political acumen, and ability to provide a fresh perspective will be highly valued.
