Responsibilities
- Operate various machinery and equipment used in food production, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance
- Follow strict HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) procedures to maintain food safety throughout the production process
- Assist with the preparation, packaging, and labeling of food products according to specified standards
- Conduct routine quality checks and monitor production lines for consistency, cleanliness, and safety
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including batch numbers, quantities, and inspection results
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements, ingredient quantities, and quality assessments
- Report any mechanical issues or deviations from standard procedures promptly to supervisors for resolution
Experience
- Prior experience in food production or manufacturing environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations is highly desirable
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues effectively
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during daily operations
