About the Role
We are seeking experienced and reliable Groundworkers to join our growing team, working on a range of residential, commercial, and civil engineering projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in delivering high-quality work while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of groundworks.
- Excavation and trenching.
- Drainage installation, including deep drainage.
- Kerbing, edging, and paving.
- Foundations and concrete works.
- Installation of ducts and service trenches.
- Flagging, block paving, and finishing works.
- Operating small plant and tools where qualified.
- Reading and working from site drawings and plans.
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
- Working effectively as part of a team and following site instructions.
Essential Experience
- Previous experience working as a Groundworker on construction or civil engineering projects.
- Proven experience in drainage, foundations, concreting, and finishing works.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Essential Qualifications
- Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Worker preferred, Green Labourer considered depending on experience).
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred but not essential).
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable Qualifications
The following are advantageous but not essential:
- CPCS or NPORS Plant Operator Card.
- Street Works (NRSWA) qualification.
- Forward Tipping Dumper ticket.
- Ride-on Roller ticket.
- 360 Excavator ticket.
- Confined Space certification.
- First Aid at Work qualification.
- CAT & Genny training.
