Full-Time: Warehouse Operative
Wilkin & Sons, Galliford Warehouse, Maldon, Essex
Salary: £13.02 per hour (39 hour week - £26,404.56 per annum)
Working hours: 8am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, and 8am to 3pm on Fridays.

We are now looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team on a permanent basis.
Role Responsibilities:
- Load and unloading duties
- Picking/packing of raw materials for shipping
- Checking orders
- Completing stock counts
- Checking in and putting away incoming goods
- Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy
- Performing any other duties necessary when required by management
- Ensuring that reasonable care is taken at all times in the warehouse environment
- Wearing all PPE supplied by the company as suitable for the task, in the correct manner and as it was designed to be worn
Requirements of the role:
- Motivated and enthusiastic
- Counterbalance or Flexi Forklift driving experience (preferred but not essential as training can be provided)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Working well with team members and staff as well as independently
- Maintaining a reasonable work pace
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times
- Problem solving skills and ability to think on your feet, and able to act quickly when a problem arises or report issues or hazards to supervisors
- Sense of ownership and pride in your work and performance
- Have a good understanding of health and safety requirements and follow/adhere to these at all times

It is essential to be literate, numerate, confident with using computer systems including handheld scanners and more importantly willing to learn. Manufacturing experience is not essential as we provide all successful candidates with full training.
