Job Summary
This is a hands-on role supporting our HGV technicians by carrying out routine trailer inspections, basic maintenance and general workshop duties. It is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical experience who wants to develop within the commercial vehicle industry.
The role is Monday - Friday and every other Saturday.

Responsibilities
- Carrying out trailer safety inspections (PMIs)
- Recording and reporting defects
- Basic vehicle and trailer maintenance
- Preparing vehicles for MOT
- Steam cleaning and vehicle preparation
- Assisting HGV technicians with repairs
- Keeping the workshop clean, organised and safe
- Moving vehicles around site (where authorised)
Requirements
- Has a good practical and mechanical aptitude
- Is reliable, organised and takes pride in their work
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Holds a full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential)
- Has previous workshop or commercial vehicle experience (preferred but not essential)
Pay: £25,420.00-£52,000.00 per year
